  • The property must be an apartment, or a villa should be in a free-hold area; an area where foreigners are allowed to own properties.
  • Property current value must be at least AED 1 million.
  • If the property is mortgaged, 50% property value must be paid.

2. Tourist Visa

This visa is issued to visitors of Dubai, UAE for tourism or job-seeking purposes. The visa is typically valid for 30 days and can be extended for an additional 30 days.

3. Employment visa

4. Business visa:

9. Non-Immigrant Visa:

  • 96-hour visa.

10. Retirement Visa

Retired employees over the age 55 years have the option of a retirement visa valid for 5 years. The eligibility criteria include either of the following:

1. Invest in a property worth AED 2 million.

2. Have financial savings of no less than AED 1 million.

3. Have an active income of no less than AED 20,000 per month.

11. Golden Visa

The UAE Golden Visa is a long-term residence visa that is granted to foreign investors, entrepreneurs, scientists, qualified professionals, and exceptional talents. It offers several benefits, including the ability to live, work, and study in the UAE without any restrictions. The Golden Visa is valid for 5 or 10 years and can be renewed.

12. Green Visa

The new Green Residency Visa allows freelancers and self-employed individuals a 5-year residency in the UAE without a sponsor or an employer. The following requirements must be fulfilled:

  • A freelance/self-employment permit from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
  • A bachelor’s degree or a diploma in the respective domain.
  • An annual self-employment income over the past two years of AED 360,000 or the ability to demonstrate financial stability during the stay in the UAE.
